I love this so much! The drawings are wonderful! As a retired science teacher, some of my favorite recollections are of freaking out kids with revelations like these. A hands-on project to extract an entire weed from the school garden - “use your x-ray vision to get all the roots!” - would turn into a highly competitive exercise between working groups to see who could collect the best one with the biggest unbroken root system! And then they had to display it. Blew their minds every time… 👏🏻❤️
