Hi We’re Virens Studio
We’re a couple of cool yet nerdy hort professionals posting articles about: planting design, ecological practices and urban greening. Plus, garden history, travel and all of new stuff that we’re constantly learning.
This a space for us to expand our regular blog posts (both for the Virens site and others) and connect with other garden lovers, while getting paid.
Our experience in urban parks, civic planting design and maintenance has given us a solid base. But, when we started to learn and trial new more eco-friendly ideas, we realized that we needed to go out on our own. So, we’re building our own business as a way to use and bring everything that we’ve got, to green up urban spaces through ecologically sound design and practices.
We’ll be posting full-length articles a couple of times every month, plus lots of smaller bits and pieces to trade info and connect with anyone interested in naturalistic and eco-friendly, wild gardens. So, please join us on this journey into Garden Culture!
